Hairpiece can be release via adhesive remover ,on my previous post i pointed out few easy steps on How to Remove and Clean up Hair Replacement Adhesive .Today i going talk about some advance trick and also some video on how can we remove the hair adhesive glue from our hair system.
Talk about remove glue from head is not that hard .But your hair system need gentle handling especially when it made from the lace materiel .We can use some a technique call "Mirror Slide" to get those glue off from your hairpiece without damaging the hair system. The Mirror Slide is one of the easiest methods to safely remove glue residue from holes in the lace.
It is vital to allow the adhesive remover to work and completely release before attempting to remove your lace wig. Allowing the lace to completely release will also preserve your natural hairline.
Steps by Steps cleaning the hair unit:
1. Spray, or using an dropper, drip adhesive remover, through the lace unit on the hair side.
2. Wait for wig to completely release.it probably take few second to minuet.Don't rush, If needed, spray, or drip, remover between lace until and skin to ensure a clean release.
3. If there is still glue remaining in your hair base ,You can try use the "Mirror Slide" to remove the glue.
4. How to run a MIRROR SLIDE -Yes,You will need a mirror. Push the lace side of the wig firmly against a mirror and simply drag, or slide wig down the glass. Repeat the actions ,the glue will pull out of the lace and deposit on the mirror.
5. Wash your lace wig to clean and remove any remaining residue.Use solvent if needed.
6.This is optional step. Use Knot sealer to prevent lace damage and hair loss.I will discuss more detail about Knot sealer on upcoming post on this blog.
You can either wash your hair system before removal via shampoo and conditional .or you can clean it after you remove it from your head. Wash the wig while on your head then remove will make you feel it is your own hair,That all.
Remember remove all adhesive from both you head and the wig , gently rinse well around hair base perimeter.Also beware that when using solvent to remover the glue off your head .Beware of your baby hair. It's best to take care of it and not lose the baby hair by the solvent.
